Expirimenting with style
Wanting to improve my skills with photoshop and new styles I started work on this poster as a personal project.
Original Image
This Image was taken by me from Fort Wetherill. I wanted to make a design to capture the graffiti and taboo nature of it. Through trial and error I experimented with photoshop until I managed to get what I wanted.
Initial Design
Sticking in photoshop I added basic text and bar codes to the poster for a good initial design. I still wanted to do more but moved over to illustrator for typography.
Exploring Typography
Searching endlessly for fonts I finally settled on two that I felt conveyed my message and added more graphic elements.
Final Design
Final design used more colors and gradients to make the poster pop more and be more visually attractive. Overall I really enjoyed working on this and learning more about photoshop and how to use it in conjunction with illustrator.
